Michael Davakis

Senior Consultant

Prior to joining Bridge as a Senior Consultant in 2025, Michael Davakis enjoyed working in debt capital markets (DCM) at international financial institutions (BoA, Unicredit, Dresdner), regional banks (Piraeus, Al Khaliji), and local lenders (FIMBank), for more than 20 years, mostly in treasury and front office roles. He holds degrees from the University of Pennsylvania (BA Economics), the Diplomatic Academy Vienna (Master, Advanced International Studies), and the University of Vienna (Magister Economics). Michael has been PQd by the MFSA in the first line of defense as bank treasurer (2016) and in the second line of defense as a risk manager in an investment firm (2022), where, most recently, he held the position of CRO and designated MLRO. Michael has valuable experience in managing stakeholders in the areas of DCM and banking and his focus is on financial institutions and risk.
