Nikki Vukovic

IT Risk Consultant

Nikki holds a university degree in Business Management and is a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA). She started her career at the Central Bank of Malta where she worked as an Economist/Statistician on monetary and financial statistics for fifteen years. She then moved to the Audit Department of the same bank, where she took the role of Lead Operational and IT Auditor. There she also studied to obtain her CISA qualification and certification. Later on she worked as the Risk and Cybersecurity Officer for an International Insurance company for a period of three years. Nikki then moved to the MFSA, where she was responsible from conducting inspections at financial institutions locally on the areas of ICT Risk and cybersecurity. She also worked on the preparation for the implementation of DORA. Nikki then joined Bank of Valletta as an IT Audit Manager, where she also formed part of the DORA Steering Committee in preparation for the implementation of the regulation. Nikki is currently furthering her studies in Cybersecurity and DORA.
